JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to help develop dementia care in Vingåker? We are now looking for a dementia developer for Vingåkers municipality!

We have initiated a development project according to the Swedish Dementia Center's educational model Stjärnmärkt.

Humlegården dementia departments and Home Care Minnas are Stjärnmärkta, and you as a dementia developer will be a driving force in this work.

In the role of dementia developer, you will have overall responsibility for the development and quality assurance of the municipality's dementia care.

You will be proactive in planning, implementing, and following up on dementia care.

Part of the work involves monitoring the external environment and implementing new developments in our operations.

You will educate and guide staff within elderly care services and provide support, advice, and information to patients with dementia and their relatives.

Part of the work will also involve being responsible for and coordinating the work with Stjärnmärkt, BPSD, and SweDem.

You will also be the municipality's coordinator with the region, such as contact with the memory investigation team at the health center and memory clinic.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in dementia care.

You are a licensed nurse or occupational therapist with experience in the field.

It is a requirement that you have training in dementia care and it is an advantage if you are a trainer for the BPSD registry/Stjärnmärkt.

As a person, you are responsible, driven, and have good collaboration skills. You contribute to a positive work environment while being able to engage workgroups. You can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

A driving license (B) is a requirement.
